YOUTH PEACE CLUB
Virtual Launching of Youth Peace Club was inaugurated in Annai Veilankanni’s College for women was held on 27th September 2021 at 4:00 p.m. an initiative of International Association of Youth and students for Peace-India in partnership with Universal peace Federation of India. The chief guest of the day Mr. Birendra Shrestha, Vice President of YSP-India and Mr. Krishna Adhikari Secretary General of UPF-India The Welcome Address for the day was presented by the Mr. Birendra Shrestha, Vice President of YSP-India. The next speaker was Mr. Krishna Adhikari Secretary General of UPF-India. Shared about the Universal Peace Federation is a global network of individuals and organizations dedicated to building a world of peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony cooperation and prosperity and Fr. Clement former Vice Principal St Stephen College spoke about the importance of UPF.

Principal Incharge Ms.k.Adlin Deva Sugin, Dr.A.Mary Isabella, Coordinator, Youth Peace Club, rendered their addresses.

Youth Peace Club of Annai Veilankani’s College for Women has celebrated 152nd Mahatma Gandhi Birthday on 11th October 2021. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October every year to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Sri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Remembering Mahatma on his 152nd birth anniversary, worldwide celebrated as the “International Day of Nonviolence”.
