CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS
Christmas celebration at Annai Veilankanni’s College, Saidapet was organized on 22nd December 2021. The ceremony began with prayer at 10:00 AM Dr.S.Devaraj, Chairman, Dr.M.Delphin Devaraj, Vice Chairperson, Dr.D.Dev Anand, Secretary, Dr.D.Johny Christopher, Director of Annai Veilankanni’s Group of Educational Institutions presided over the function and conveyed the importance and significance of Christmas to the congregation. Dr. Elisai Vallabi, Principal, Annai Veilankanni’s College of Education and Dr. Senthil Kumar Principal Annai Veilankanni’s Pharmacy College conveyed their Christmas Wishes to the students. Ms. Adlin Devasugin Principal incharge Annai Veilankanni’s College for women welcomed the gathering.
After that various programs like Carol songs, Nativity play and dance were organized on the theme of Christmas which entertained the students. A student disguised as Santa Claus distributed gifts to the students. The celebration was concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms. B. Mallika, Vice Principal, Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women. After all the programs ended, everybody had delicious food and deserts.
As Christmas is a festival of joy by sharing and helping others, the management, staff and students donated various gifts to the needy in Annai Rehabilitation Center and the students entertained them with various cultural events.
